I am a Zambian-born artist, poet, creative, and content creator whose work is rooted in storytelling, self-development, and celebrating the human spirit. My artistic journey began at a young age when I discovered a passion for drawing. What started as a childhood fascination grew into a lifelong commitment to creating art that captures not only a person's likeness but also their emotion, character, and story.
Predominantly self-taught, I spent many years developing my skills as a Graphite and charcoal hyper-realism art artist, learning through practice, perseverance, and an unwavering love for the craft. In recognition of my work and contribution to the arts, I was honoured to receive the Mukuba Art Award for Best Female Visual Artist in 2008.
After relocating to the United Kingdom in 2010, I continued to refine my artistic practice and explore new techniques. In 2025, I completed training at the Kelvin Okafor Academy, where I expanded my expertise in charcoal portraiture and further developed my passion for hyper-realism.
Today, I specialise in creating hyper-realistic portraits in Graphite and charcoal hyper-realism art and charcoal, working primarily on A1-sized paper. I am drawn to the scale and creative freedom that larger formats provide, allowing me to capture the finest details, subtle expressions, and intricate play of light and shadow that bring a portrait to life.Alongside my artwork, I am also a poet and content creator. Through both visual art and the written word, I aim to inspire resilience, personal growth, and self-belief. I believe that creativity has the power to connect, heal, and transform, and I strive to reflect those values in everything I create.
My journey as an artist continues to evolve, but at its heart remains the same passion that first inspired me to pick up a Graphite and charcoal hyper-realism art as a child—a love of creating meaningful work that tells a story and leaves a lasting impression.
